The Movie “Human”: Legacy of Racial Injustice in America Discussed by Bryan Stevenson

09.22.15

Legendary filmmaker Yann Arthus-Bertrand has released HUMAN, a collection of stories about and images of our world, offering an immersion to the core of what it means to be human, and presenting a series of perspectives on human rights and social justice.

HUMAN is a politically engaged work which allows us to embrace the human condition and to reflect on the meaning of our existence.

EJI participated in the making of the film, and we are honored to present these short clips as an ongoing feature. The first is a portrait of EJI director Bryan Stevenson discussing his own experiences contending with the legacy of racial injustice in America.
