EJI’s Website Wins Webby Award

Updated 05.19.20

We are pleased to announce that EJI’s website has been recognized as the People’s Voice Winner for the Best Nonprofit Website in the 24th Annual Webby Awards—hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times.

The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.

EJI’s site, designed by Madeo, was singled out as one of the five best in the world in the Charitable Organizations/Non-Profit category and received the Webby People’s Voice Award – an honor that is tallied by votes from people across the world. We want to thank all our supporters for taking the time to vote and help highlight our work.

We’re excited that the Webby People’s Voice Award is bringing millions of people around the world to eji.org—to confront our nation’s history of racial injustice, explore our reports on issues like racial bias in jury selection and children sentenced to die in prison, and get involved in the struggle for criminal justice reform.
