EJI to Honor Survivors at Annual Dinner

03.30.16

EJI’s Annual Benefit Dinner is next Tuesday, April 5, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.

We will be honoring EJI client Anthony Ray Hinton, who spent 30 years on Alabama’s death row for a crime he did not commit. Next week marks the one year anniversary of Mr. Hinton’s release, and we are thrilled for all of you to meet him.

We will also honor Mrs. Mamie Kirkland, an extraordinary, 107-year-old lynching survivor born in Ellisville, Mississippi. Her amazing story and witness will make for a very special evening.

The evening will feature special musical performances and new multimedia presentations about the work of EJI.

Registration for the event is now closed, but if you have questions about possible seating availability, please call EJI at (334) 269-1803.
